Successful Class

If you have been visiting our website, you may have already looked at our latest What’s New page:  https://www.houseofstitches.com/whatsnew.cfm.  The list of new items is not as long as it is sometimes but there are plenty of great projects for your stitching pleasure.  We now have the last two designs in the Songbird’s Garden series from Cottage Garden Samplings.  If you are looking for a large project to see you through the winter, take a look at With the Needle 2 from Lila’s Studio.  Victoria Sampler has a new box design and a Christmas tree that you can decorate as much as you want!
Our Weekend of Stitches with Beth Seal from Summer House Stitche Workes was great fun! Beth is a wonderful, patient teacher and I think we all learned new needlework tips, tricks and techniques.  Everyone did a great job!

Cindy from Lansing, IL sent a photo of her weekend accomplishments!

Christmas Framing Deadline

We are busy with last minute preparations for our Weekend of Stitches!  We are looking forward to spending time with Beth Seal from Summer House Stitche Workes. I’m sure we will all learn a few new needlework tricks and techniques!

Can you believe that we are almost halfway through October?  If you are stitching Christmas gifts, I hope that things are progressing nicely!  Our deadline for Christmas framing is November 15.  That gives us enough time to give your project the attention that it deserves to get it ready for gift giving.

Our What’s New page, https://www.houseofstitches.com/whatsnew.cfm , is filled with new charts from some of your favorite designers: Country Cottage Needleworks, Hands on  Designs, Heart in Hand Needleart, JBW Designs, Just Nan, Little House Needleworks, Plum Street Designs, Summer House Stitche Workes and With Thy Needle and Thread.  Scroll through the  list  and let us know which ones are destined for your collection.

One of our stitching friends, Patti from Noblesville, recently shared an epic project that she has been working on for several years.  The designs are from eight of Prairie Schooler's annual Santa cards. She used seven count Klostern to stitch them. It’s going to be too pretty to cover with packages!  Keep up the good work, Patti!  You are in the home stretch on this project.
