Pre-Market SALE

New charts continue to arrive!  Our What’s New page has been updated at http://houseofstitches.com/whatsnew.cfm.  The 2016 Heart in Hand Collector’s Heart is here!  Joan Elliott has four new charts.  Victoria Sampler has two new designs and Bent Creek brings us a new snowman kit on easy to stitch 18 count linen.  The four new charts from Satin Stitches are a preview of the new things that they will have at the Nashville Needlework Market.  (You are seeing them here first!)  If you have been waiting for Merry Noel from With Thy Needle and Thread; it is finally here.  You can get a very early start on your holiday stitching.  You will feel oh, so virtuous!

The Nashville Needlework Market is just a little over a month away!  We need to make room for the large influx of charts and kits so we are having a SALE!  From now until February 6, all in stock charts and kits will be 20 % off!  (Sorry, special orders and already discounted charts and kits will not be included.)  I think I need to clarify how our website works.  We do not have a fancy point-of-sale system that removes items when they are out of stock.  We want to let you see a wide selection of designs that are available to you, so sometimes things are pictured on our website that are not in stock.  (And sometimes we do not know that things have been discontinued by the designers until we try to re-order!)

I hope your weather is warmer and less windy than ours!  But, like I always say; it is good stitching weather.  It is the perfect time-whether you are too hot in the southern hemisphere or too cold in the northern half of the world-to sit down and look at all of the new (and not so new!) things on our website.  The newest things are shown here http://houseofstitches.com/whatsnew.cfm .  While there are some lingering winter and holiday designs, we also have new spring things to brighten dull winter days.  Be sure to see all of the new spring kits from Mill Hill.  There are seashells, Easter eggs, a fishing vest and a garage with old fashioned gas pumps.  (It is nice to have designs that will be appreciated by the men in your life!)   Gypsy Queen from Mirabilia and Valentine Candy from Imaginating will put some bright spring colors in your stitching basket.  Sue Hills has a couple of cute Christmas designs if you are a forward thinker!

We are still working on our inventory.  We hope to have our inventory go down and our sales go up this year.  That will make our accounting friends happy and it seems like a good business goal!  While just the joy of planning projects and stitching them seems like plenty of reward for us needleworkers, it looks better on paper if the graph of yearly sales goes up.

Many of you have been asking for the chart Merry Noel from With Thy Needle and Thread.  I am thrilled to be able to tell you that we should have it by the end of the week!  If you would like to be added to the list of people waiting for it, just let us know.  We will also have the fourth in the Garden Club Series, Honey Bee from Blackbird Designs.
