Stitching in Season

If you like to stitch designs that are in season, we have you covered!  Our latest What’s New update has almost all Autumn and Christmas designs!  Take a look at www.houseofstitches.com/whatsnew.cfm .  There is a new Halloween design from The Drawn Thread, the latest Year in the Woods design (Beaver) and the autumn heart in the Blue Flower Seasons of the Heart series.  Quaker Sampler lovers will want to see the next two Quaker designs from Jardin Prive.  (The last What’s New featured the first one.)

Can you believe this is the last full week of October?  Yikes!  If you have things to frame for Christmas, please bring them in ASAP!  We do not want you to be disappointed!

Welcome, Sarah!

 Hi, stitching friends!

Our What’s New page has been updated at www.houseofstitches.com/whatsnew.cfm. You will want to see the latest from your favorite designers! And while we are speaking about what’s new, many of the new designs were ordered by our new shop keeper (and almost owner), Sarah! She is going to introduce herself and finish the newsletter. We will be using a new service to send the newsletter and it should reach many of you who have not been receiving it. Several of the large email providers have been rejecting our newsletters as spam. That should stop now!

Greetings stitchers!

Sarah here! It’s been great meeting so many of you over the last few weeks!

A bit about myself. I live in Hobart with my husband and our five cats. We love to hike and visit the UP of Michigan regularly. Up until September I worked for an IT department at a university in Chicago. I’ve been stitching (amongst other crafty endeavors) since I was a kid!

I’m so excited to be on this side of the counter providing everyone with the items they need to make beautiful things. I know I have big shoes to fill, but I am up for the challenge!

Hope to see you soon and happy stitching!

 Sarah
